English Matters is designed to support the English programmes

Tiernan. Casino High School is a rural comprehensive public secondary school whose students are drawn from the town of Casino and surrounding rural villages and properties. The school is administered by DET NSW and usually has between 750 and 800 students, mostly in Years 7-10. Year 11 usually has around 120 students and Year 12 between 70 and 100 depending on the year. The curriculum includes a diverse offering of Vocational courses (VET), access to TAFE courses for senior students and the usual range of academic and humanities subjects. There is a strong emphasis on ICT with 4 computer labs and the recent installation of a Connected Classroom. |
