                                                      The Crystal Battle

Once upon a time there lived a person called Joel. He was a nice man. He lit fires for people and he found a crystal. He used it to make a shield.

The shield was a destroyer shield. But this shield got destroyed by the emeny's shield. You see, there was another group of people in another village. They were mean people. Their boss was named Rodney. They also had a destroyer shield. They used it on Joel's crystal-made shield.
The battle had started.

The enemy caught him. He was put in jail and was going to the planet Venus. There were lots of aliens. Now, he was in a lightning cage and they zapped him.  He broke the cage and ran to a spaceship and flew away.
Now he was safe, or was he?

He flew back to Earth. He landed safely in Antarctica. There he met five people. Their names were Jack, Gene, Ray, Dean and Ben. However, the aliens followed him to Antarctica. Joel tried to activate his broken crystal shield.
Was it going to work?

Suddenly, a blinding flash of light coursed through the shield. The aliens shimmered for a moment, their insides lit up like an x-ray, before disintegrating into a smoking mass.
'Wow!' said Jack. 'How did you do that?'
'I'm not sure,' said Joel, clearly puzzled. 'There must have been some kind of trace element in the atmosphere on Venus that mended the shield.'
'Not before time,' said Gene, staring over his shoulder. 'Look out behind you - aaaaarrrgghhhh!'

A big, ugly, green giant spider appeared and shot out a web. The web covered their bodies. They couldn't breathe. They died a few seconds later.
After many years, the story is still told to the young children to remind them to 'Always be prepared!'
