One stormy day a baby elephant named Eley was lost in the jungle. Then while she was running she found a baby monkey on the ground, Eley asked the monkey what her name was, the monkey said" Maggie" in a very sweet voice "hi my name is Eley let's go and find a nice warm place. They found a giraffe called Gina on the way. Then they saw a cave . . ..

Quietly, carefully, Eley, Maggie and Gina crept into the cave. You never know what may be lurking in a cave in the middle of the jungle! There might be three-toed sloths hanging from the ceiling. Or hundred-footed centipedes hiding under rocks, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting jungle creatures. In the distance, Eley could hear a drip, drip, dripping noise.
Leaving the others to guard the entrance, she went to investigate…

Eley followed the drip, drip, dripping noise. After about half an hour, she found a curtain of vines. She went through and saw a wonderful spring with a waterfall coming over the edge of the jungle.
Then suddenly she saw two crocodile eyes coming towards her. She wanted to move but she was to scared.

Then she noticed that the sand rose up to her knees. Meanwhile the croc was coming closer and closer. Eley screamed and luckily the others heard her and came dashing to the rescue.

They found the curtain of vines. Maggie peeked through the vines and saw Eley stuck in the sand. Maggie told Gina to bite through some vines and tie them together so they could pull Eley out of the sand.
They called to Eley and told her the plan.
They trew the vines.

Eley grabbed onto them with her mouth. The others pulled and heaved and finally Eley was out. But as they were celebrating their victory, none of them noticed that the crocodiles were coming. Just as the crocodiles were about to get them, the crocodile hunter Steve who was nearby, had a spare piece of meat and lured the crocodiles away from them.

He threw it a metre away. Then he found a vine and swung back to the animals. Maggie was so happy that she started to jump and hop all over the place. She slipped and fell and laughed. They were so happy, all of them.
Steve helped them find their mums. He told them how dangerous a jungle could be. But you know, after this little adventure, they know this now.
