One day there was a cheeky duck, a dolphin, a horse and a mermaid. Their names were Emma, Kim, Sender and Bliss. It was a lovely day and they were at the pond having a picnic.

Suddenly, a saltwater crocodile jumped out from the pond and chased Emma around a tree. The crocodile snapped up the poor duck in his jaws.

“Better than KFC” thought the croc and plunged back into the water.

The three friends reacted by being shocked. They didn’t know what to do. They all screamed and jumped into the pond after her. Emma could not be seen anywhere. Where could she be?

As you know, ducks float, so that is what had happened to Emma.  She had risen to the top of the pond and was scrambling about, flapping her wings, trying to fly, because that old croc was still in the pond, hungry for the taste of animal flesh.  Meanwhile, under the pond's surface...
