Teacher Plan - Exploration and Evaluation of Websites

This lesson is intended to be a simple introduction to the Internet for Junior Primary students. 

Step 1 - Students will need to have a printed copy of the Evaluation Page in order to record their findings. Alternatively, photocopies of this form could be provided. (Students who are technoliterate may want to copy the required table into a word document in order to work in soft copy format.) 

Step 2 - Teachers and students will need to read the form together to confirm understanding and should discuss the evaluation terminology included.

Step 3 - Students can choose to visit one or more of the 3 suggested sites.

Step 4 - With teacher support where required, students can complete their evaluation form and share their findings with their peers.
