Plan - Guided Web searching activities
This lesson uses the skills
developed in Lesson 1, but provides more direction for students, through
appropriate questioning, to guide their searching.
This lesson is in two parts
in order to facilitate simpler printing and to caters for Junior Primary
student variations in completion of tasks.
Step 1 - Students
will need to have a printed copy of Guide
page 1 and Guide page 2 in order
to record their findings. Alternatively, photocopies of these pages could
be provided. (Students who are technoliterate may want to copy the
required tables into a word document in order to work in soft copy
format.)
Step 2 - Teachers
and students will need to read the guide pages together to confirm
understanding and should discuss each of the activities included.
Step 3 - The
students will need to parallel working on their hard copy with working on
the online guide in order to keep hyperlinks active.
