implementation of this lesson will require the teacher to read the
instructions with the students as the literacy level of the text may be
challenging to some Junior Primary students. It was prepared in this way
so that the lesson complies with standard established protocols from our
online research into the creation of Webquests.
The instructions may need
to be outlined to students in a classroom discussion session first before
going to the online instructions.
The online instructions
should be easy enough for teachers to follow, and could be adjusted in any
way to fit with classroom needs or requirements or to fit with different
geographical locations.
It is expected that this
Webquest section of the unit of work will carry over a number of lessons
both online and offline. Class teachers might choose to extend the unit
through the Webquest, to fit in with a full term plan.
